More efficiency, more sustainability and better spaces for everyone

Estepona Town Council continues to transform the town with the complete renewal of the public lighting in six municipal parks: Parque de La Constitución, Parque Huerta Nueva, Parque de Los Derechos Humanos, Parque de Los Niños, Parque del Seghers and Parque Carmen Thyssen.

The work involves replacing 350 old light fittings with state-of-the-art LED technology, improving lighting, safety and comfort for users.

  • Savings of €27,000 a year for the municipal coffers.
  • 65% reduction in energy consumption.
  • More than 95,500 kWh of annual energy savings.
  • Lower environmental impact and protection of urban biodiversity.
  • Modernisation of facilities more than 30 years old.

With an investment of €186,823, this work will save more than €270,000 over the lifespan of the new light fittings, generating a positive economic return for all the people of Estepona.

We continue working to build a more modern, efficient and sustainable Estepona, improving the public spaces that thousands of residents enjoy every day.
