More investment, more accessibility and better beaches for Estepona
17/08/2026
We continue improving our coastline.
The Town Council is going to invest almost €900,000 to modernise the facilities on our beaches and make them more accessible, safe and comfortable for everyone.
- 6 new lifeguard and rescue modules
- 9 new toilet modules, with adapted and accessible spaces
- 1 storage module for rescue and accessibility equipment
- 1,250 metres of new concrete walkways, wider and more durable
- 42 new draining platforms for showers and foot-washing stations
- 40 platforms for the new beach modules
The new walkways, up to 1.80 metres wide, will make access easier all year round to the sand areas and to the toilet and lifeguard services, especially for people with reduced mobility.
An investment that adds to the 17 new lookout and rescue towers installed last summer.
We continue working so that Estepona has beaches worthy of a modern city: more accessible, safer and better equipped.
