Estepona awards a new animal rescue and protection service to strengthen coverage and guarantee zero euthanasia

Estepona Town Council has awarded the launch of an animal rescue and protection service with the aim of strengthening the coverage already being offered in the city.
Specifically, the new contract covers services for the collection, housing and keep (including veterinary treatment) of abandoned and/or lost animals in the municipality.
With the award of the new service, the aim is to give greater coverage to the service the Town Council was already providing through its agreement with a dog kennel to look after these animals, which are recovered from the street and from homes where they were in a situation of abandonment or mistreatment. With this action we continue to guarantee their welfare and zero euthanasia.
In addition, we will continue to promote awareness campaigns against abandonment and to encourage responsible adoption.
