Estepona Town Council joins tonight the initiative promoted by the Asociación de Tumores de Vías Biliares en España (ATUVIBI) on the occasion of World Cholangiocarcinoma Day.

As part of this awareness campaign, the Town Council has lit up in green some of the city’s landmark buildings as a show of support for people affected by bile duct tumours and their families.

This symbolic action aims to:

Give visibility to a rare disease.

Promote research and early diagnosis.

Show support and solidarity to those living with this condition.

Cholangiocarcinoma is a type of cancer that affects the bile ducts and, due to its low incidence, needs greater public awareness and institutional support.
