The Town Council has today held the institutional ceremony for Local Police Day. This year the Police Merit Medals with white badge have been presented to the president of the Provincial Fire Brigade Consortium and vice-president of the Diputación, Manuel Marmolejo; to the Real Maestranza de Caballería de Ronda; to National Police inspector Miguel Ángel Gutiérrez Blanco; to Civil Guard lieutenant colonel Manuel Ovidio Corredor Sánchez; and to Salvador Gil, head of Estepona’s cleaning service. Distinctions and awards have also been presented to Estepona Local Police officers for the daily effort and sacrifice they make in our municipality.
