From today Estepona has a new calisthenics circuit.

It is located in the Parque Ferial y Deportivo and is one of the most complete in Andalusia.

Top-quality materials such as galvanised steel and stainless steel have been used, for resistance and durability suited to being outdoors.

This new equipment will make it easier to practise calisthenics, a training system based on physical exercises performed with one’s own body weight.

The elements installed are abdominal benches, double parallel bars, low parallel bars, a single parallel bar, a polished steel pole dance bar, Hammer parallel bars, a double freestyle bar, a push-up bar, an inclined monkey bar, a standard monkey bar, a snake monkey bar, a Swedish wall and a French-style push-up bar.

This calisthenics area joins those already existing on La Rada beach, one next to plazoleta Ortiz and another level with the Mirador de Los Maniseros, and the one in the Parque del Ángel.

All of them form part of the municipal plan launched to bring sport closer to residents.
