I have held an official meeting with the Agrupación de Hermandades y Cofradías de Semana Santa de Estepona on the occasion of the recent formation of its new executive board, chaired by Francisco Aguilar.

During the meeting, various aspects relating to the planning and organisation of the next Holy Week were discussed, as well as matters of coordination and collaboration between the Town Council and the Agrupación for the proper running of the events and processions.

I conveyed to them the municipal support for Estepona’s Holy Week, highlighting its cultural, social, heritage and religious importance, and reiterating the Town Council’s willingness to continue collaborating with the Passion brotherhoods and confraternities of the municipality.
