Seguimos mejorando el extrarradio de Estepona.

Hemos licitado las obras para hacer accesible el paso peatonal elevado que conecta El Paraíso y Benamara, una actuación muy demandada por los vecinos que permitirá instalar rampas para facilitar el paso de personas con movilidad reducida, familias con carritos y ciclistas.

Tras tres años de insistencia, el Gobierno de España ha autorizado al Ayuntamiento a ejecutar esta mejora, que asumiremos con recursos municipales para dar respuesta a una necesidad real de esta zona.

Y seguiremos reclamando un nuevo acceso desde la A-7, una infraestructura imprescindible para mejorar la movilidad de Estepona y que también estamos dispuestos a costear desde el Ayuntamiento.

We continue improving the outskirts of Estepona.

We have launched the tender for the works to make the elevated pedestrian walkway connecting El Paraíso and Benamara fully accessible. This long-awaited project, requested by local residents, will include access ramps to make it easier for people with reduced mobility, families with strollers, and cyclists to use the crossing.

After three years of persistent requests, the Government of Spain has finally authorised the Town Hall to carry out these works, which will be fully funded with municipal resources to meet a genuine local need.

We will also continue calling for a new access point to Estepona from the A-7 motorway—an essential infrastructure project to improve mobility in our municipality, which the Town Hall has also offered to finance.
