Better parks and spaces for our children
At the Partido Popular of Estepona we continue to drive improvements that translate into a better quality of life for families.
The Town Council has put out to tender, for €841,942, the renovation and upgrading of 14 playgrounds in the town centre and the outskirts.
4 parks will be completely renovated and another 10 will be refurbished, adding new play equipment, safety flooring, accessibility improvements and maintenance work.
Huerta Nueva will have a new Pirate Ship with a slide, rope bridge and crawl tunnel.
The park next to the Ramón Lago school in Cancelada will add climbing walls, swings, seesaws and a slide.
The Derechos Humanos park will have new play equipment, an inclusive playhouse and continuous flooring.
And the Los Niños park will get new play elements, a swing and continuous rubber flooring.
Work will also be carried out in Nuestra Señora de los Remedios, Doctor Mena Arce, La Lobilla, El Calvario, Antonio José Jiménez González, Las Joyas, Los Pedregales, Miguel Ángel Blanco, Polideportivo El Carmen and Federico García Lorca.
This is the second phase of a plan that last year already allowed work on 18 sites with an investment of €1.1 million.
We continue transforming Estepona so that our families enjoy safer, more modern public spaces designed for the youngest.
