Great news for Estepona.

In 2028 the city will have a new 5-star Grand Luxury hotel, which will stand out as the establishment with the greatest capacity to host events on the whole Costa del Sol.

The luxury hotel chain JW Marriott is the new operator of the former Estepona Hotel & Spa Resort facilities and has an impressive project to turn this tourist facility into an international reference.

The proposal they will be working on over the next two years includes the creation of a 20,000-square-metre area of seafront gardens, 6 restaurants, a 5,000-square-metre adventure park and 191 rooms with an average size of 90 square metres, 86 per cent of which will be suites with views of the beach.

It should be noted that this hotel chain is committed to making the future hotel a benchmark for hosting major events and conferences, so it will have a total of 25 spaces for international celebrations and meetings. To this end, halls with 360-degree LED screens will be designed, allowing immersive gatherings in which image, sound and even aroma will play an important role.

The new hotel, Estepona JW Marriott Beach Resort, will operate 365 days a year and expects to have a workforce of 270 employees, who will enjoy ongoing training and quality salaries.

The Marriott chain, the largest hotel company in the world, manages in our country hotels as prestigious as the Alfonso XIII in Seville, the Palace Hotel in Madrid, the Hotel María Cristina in San Sebastián or the Hotel Marqués de Riscal in La Rioja.
