The event was a great success, both technically and organisationally.

Estepona Town Council reports that last Saturday 25 October the III Taekwon-Do ITF Ciudad de Estepona 2025 Promotion Championship was held with great success, organised by the Club Deportivo Taekwon-Do TKD Estepona, chaired by ‘Sabumnim’ Alberto Barsemanto, with the collaboration of the Town Council.

The event brought together 250 competitors of all ages from different parts of Andalusia, and was a complete success, both technically (demonstrated by competitors from the age of 4 up to seniors) and organisationally, from the refereeing organised by Master Ana María Casares to the organising staff and coaches of all the clubs that attended the Championship, in which 16 Andalusian clubs took part, in the Tul (imaginary combat) and Sparring categories.

The councillor attached to the Sports department, Luis Gil, highlighted the great work the local Taekwon-Do club does in promoting this martial art, and thanked them for organising this sporting event, which is becoming established and turning into one of the most eagerly awaited dates for athletes and fans.

As well as highlighting the great support of family members, the organisers thank the Federation and Estepona Town Council for their collaboration.
